Dr. Ankica Tomić has worked at Migration Asylum Refugee Regional Initiative Regional Centre (MARRI RC) based in Skopje since October 2020 as the Representative of Bosnia and Hercegovina. She also performs the tasks of Special Advisor on Gender and Equality within MARRI RC. Prior her appointment at that position, she has been working within Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Hercegovina as Head of Department for International Cooperation for more than 16 years. She holds a PhD in defense and security studies. She was a lecturer at Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC BiH) in the field of gender related topics for Military, Police and civilians for a long time. Her special filed of interests is gender aspects of Human security.
